Kampala hit by floods

Celebrations to mark 27 years of NRM were marred by rain that poured all day from the early hours of the morning to the afternoon.  Business downtown was low key as customers were inhibited by the torrential rains.  Some areas of Kampala  like Bwaise, Nateete, kajjansi and downtown Kampala were the most affected.
