Invest More in Sports -Nabila Tells KCCA

Kampala Woman MP Nabira Nagayi Sempala says there’s a need for Kampala Capital City Authority to pass a budget for the maintenance of the existing football pitches in the city as a way to help nature the talents of the young generation.

Speaking during the finals of the Kampala Regional Football Tournament in Kawempe division, Nabira who was irritated by the poor state in which the football pitch on which the match was being played, says if KCCA is able to cater for planting of flowers in the city, there is no reason they do not take this on.

She adds that its unfortunate that football as a talent has been neglected despite its importance in employing the young generation.

Nabila also wants KCCA to consider putting in place the Kampala Football Tournament where all teams in Kampala can compete other than injecting money in only one team KCCA Football club.
