Go Forward camp accuses police of mistreatment

The Democratic Party Secretary
General Mathias Nsubuga has
accused the police of what he calls
the mistreatment of Independent
presidential candidate Amama
Mbabazi.
According to Nsubuga, former premier
Mbabazi has been harassed by the
police during several rallies and many of his supporters have been detained without trial.
He also claims that the police has
usurped the role of the electoral
commission in superintending over
the campaigns.
