German to continue supporting Uganda’s energy sector

The government of German says that it’s to continue supporting Uganda’s energy sector.
This was revealed by Udo Weber the Head of Co-operation at the Embassy of Germany while handing over the training equipment on solar technology to Ndejje University.
According to Udo, not only Uganda faces severe challenges to achieve sustainable energy solutions, but also highly industrialized countries like Germany face enormous challenges in the energy sector and are actively working on the revision of their energy policies.
He however noted that in order to fight global warming, all countries have to elaborate new energy strategies on how to produce energy in an environmentally friendly way and how more efficient energy technologies can be used.
