Funeral service to be held today in honour of Minister Mutende.

A funeral service in honour of the late Minister of  state for industry, James Mutende will be held today  at All Saints Cathedral, Kampala. His body will  then lie in state on Wednesday at 10am for public  viewing and at 2pm, Mps will hold a special  sitting to pay tribute to the deceased.

Another funeral service will be held in Mbale on Thursday  and on Friday, the Mbale District local Government  will hold a special session.

The burial at Mafudu village in Sironko district, set for Friday by the family lies in balance due to Independence  Celebrations that fall on the same day . Unless government alters the plans, the programme  will carry on as planned.

James Mutende died at the weekend and a postmortem  report reveals he died of natural causes .
