Former Red Cross society Secretary General remanded

The Anti-Corruption Court has charged and remanded to Luzira prison Michael Nataka, the former Secretary General of the Uganda Red Cross Society.

He has been charged with abuse of office in a case involving the transportation of a private individual’s vehicle in the same container carrying a Red Cross consignment.

Nataka has been remanded until tomorrow when he will return to court to present his bail application.
