DP says Mao will contest for presidency.

The Democratic Party has said that

its leader Norbert Mao will pick

nomination forms to contest for the

Presidency.

Mao will go to the Electoral

Commission on Friday and later

contest through the Democratic

Alliance – a joint opposition group- in

the 2016 general election.

The party spokesperson Kenneth

Kakande said that talks between DP

and Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago’s

faction, the “Truth and Justice

Forum” to persuade them back to the

party could bear fruit.
