Democratic Alliance Issue Joint Candidature Guidelines

The Democratic Alliance (TDA) has on Monday morning launched a Candidate selection criteria, which will be used by the alliance parties at all levels of competition ranging from Presidential to lower level positions.
While launching the criteria at the TDA Headquarters in Naguru, Ms.Nakibuuka Mcxensia, the Deputy Chair to the TDA-National Candidates Criteria has told journalist that the frame work will have to be respected at all levels.
The alliance is looking forward to fielding its candidates by the 25th of August 2015
Ms Nakibuuka says that the Alliance’s summit is currently in talks to harmonize on-going inter-party wrangles of member parties such as the UPC and DP.
She adds that individuals who share common interest in the Alliance will have to first be endorsed by a section of members in the alliance.
As the alliance kick-starts the search for its joint Candidates, the National Electoral Commission opens its doors today for aspirants to kick nomination forms at all levels.
