Deadline for simcard registration still stands – ICT Minister 

In a communication that was issued this evening by the minister for ICT, the deadline for SIM card registration still stands. 

A tweet from Hon Frank Tumwebaze, in whose docket the Uganda communications commission (UCC) falls, clarified governments position on sim card registration and affirmed that while government had taken note of the parliamentary motion, the deadline still stood.
