Courts Reopen After 30 days Holiday

The High court and the magistrates courts have reopened this morning to the general public after a one months vacation which ended last Saturday.
The annual court Vacation runs from July 15 to August 15 and during these period only criminal cases are heard.
The Court vacation is also a time when judicial officers go on leave and use the same to write their judgements and rulings that were pending.
The Judiciary spokesperson Eria Kisawuzi has been telling us that members of the public can now go to these courts and follow up their cases from where they ended at the time the courts went on vacation.
