Court To Compel Gov’t to Produce Aine Alive or Dead

High court sets the 27th of this month as a date to hear a case filed against gvt to compel police produce the body of  missing Amama Mbabazi security aide Christopher Aine.

The date has been communicated by the presiding judge Lydia Mugambe.

Although Aine’s relatives yesterday gave a one week ultimatum to police to produce Aine dead or alive, the family last week  had petitioned court for an order to compel police do the same.

Aine’s cousin also the applicant in this case Ezra Kabugo , says he last heard from him on the morning of 14th/ Dec/2015 when he( Aine) called to inform him that a group of  police officers had surrounded his home in Kyanja – Kampala district.

Since then the family believes that police is illegally  holding Aine in a ungazatted place

However, police has since denied the allegation and has  also s looked for him to the extent of  pinnining posters bearing his photograph with a promise of 20 million shillings as a reward for any one who gives useful information that may lead to finding Aine.
