Commercial Court summons Basajjabalaba over shs70m debt .

The Commercial Court has summoned City Businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba over a 70 million shilling debt he has allegedly refused to settle with a Furniture company , Nina Interiors since November last year .

Court documents indicate that Basajjabalaba in october last year asked Nina Interiors to supply him with Furniture on credit inculding king size beds ,glass dinning tables , mattresses,curtainsand bedcovers among others at his Bwebajja satlite city home .

All the said items ammounted to 61 million shillings . The company says Basajjabalaba  undertook to pay the said money on 1st November last year , but has not done so to date despite repeated demands

Nina Interiorss now wants court to compel Basajja pay the said money which is inclusive of 9 million shillin gs in damages for breach of contract .
