Chaos as Mbabazi is Blocked in Mbale

There has been chaos in Mbale town as police tried to block former Prime Minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi from addressing his public rally in Mbale cricket grounds.

Mbabazi who earlier addressed his mobilizers at a hotel in Mbale led a huge crowd through Republic Street to the venue of the rally as police tried to divert his convoy.

Angry supporters pelted stones at the police that later backed off and allowed the procession to go ahead.

Waki Moses has been reporting that Mbabazi who was two months ago blocked from visiting Mbale has paralyzed the town as multitudes of supporters jammed the streets in his company.
