The king of Bunyoro Solomon Iguru Gafabusa I has reshuffled his cabinet

At weekend, the Kingdom Prime minister Norman Lukumu said the King had replaced ministers who resigned to join politics.

The changes take immediate effect and the ministers will be sworn in next week.

-Egonu Vigirya has replaced Harriet BusingeMugenyi as Minister of Education.

-Robert Irumba occupies Ham Mugenyi’s position as Attorney General.

-John Baguma takes over from Julian Ayesiga for youth representative.

Resty Timbigamba has replaced Baguma as the Deputy Minister of Education

Fred Mugenyi who has been serving as Minister of Forestry now heads Security.

Kahigwa Rujumba who has been minister in charge of Palace Affairs is now Minister of forestry .

Mukanga Muzamil who has been the King’s adviser on land issues is has been named Deputy attorney General.

At the weekend, Buganda’s king Ronald Muwenda Mutebi also made reshuffles in his cabinet.
