BAMUNANIKA COUNTY IN LUWEERO DEMAND FOR DISTRICT STATUS

The demand for new district status continues to rattle many Ugandans as more and more communities push for elevation of respective areas.
The country now has over 130 districts with more recently cleared by Parliament to be created.
Despite this already high number, voices calling for new district status seem unending with now some leaders in Bamunanika County in Luweero joining the queue.
Our correspondent in Luweero says the outcome of yesterday’s district NRM elections have only precipitated that call.
