Anti – measles campaign starts.

Ministry of health is today launching a nationwide  mass measles immunization campaign  in Kyegegwa district.

The exercise will roll out on Saturday and end on Monday .

At least 95% of children between the ages of six months  and 5 years will be vaccinated with the measles  and oral polio vaccine.

The shs33.8b campaign is funded by Measles Rubella  Initiative, the Global Alliance for vaccination  Initiative, the United Nations Children’s  Fund and the government of Uganda.
