Former Prime Minister Amama

Mbabazi has unveiled plans to holding

consultative meetings ahead of the

2016 general elections.

The former premier has also written

to the police notifying them of his

series of meetings expected to begin

in Mbale on 7th September.

However, the deputy police

spokesperson said  that they

were awaiting feedback from the

Electoral Commission on the matter.
