2016 Presidential Candidate Museveni to launch 2016 Manifesto

The NRM presidential candidate Yoweri kaguta Museveni is this afternoon at 2pm set to unveil his 2016 Manifesto.
The manifesto is a detailed document containing his priorities which he will use in the campaigns due 9th November on which electorates shall base to either vote him again to retain his seat as president of Uganda or not.
Museveni will be launching the manifesto at imperial Royale hotel in Kampala.
Credible sources have tipped us that candidate Museveni’s 2016 Manifesto is Hinged majorly on Enhancing Jobs, Wealth creation, Achieved security, existing Good Infrastructure and the Need to resurrect the failing agriculture sector.

A Rwandese who stole a Bottle of Wine Sentenced By Buganda Road Court

A Rwandese National who stole a bottle of wine and hid it in her waist is sentenced to 3hours of community service at Buganda road court.
Ntezukobagira Maline a resident of Kigali Town was arrested at MEGA STANDARD Super Market on Monday2nd , and produced before Buganda road court grade one magistrate Joan Aciro from where she pleaded guilty to theft charges, and was remanded to luzira till today for sentencing.
Court heard that on 28.October.2015 Ntezukobagira went to the said Super Market on Button Street in Kampala and pretended to buy some items but as she was passing in the detector to get out; it made a strange noise that forced security to ask her to go back into the Super Market .
As she walked back the wine bottle worth 180,000shs fell from her waist, hit and injured her left leg and broke; she was arrested and escorted to Central Police Station.
She has been ordered to scrab the dirty walls surrounding the gate of the court.

Rules should be followed to avoid election violence – Mao

Democratic Party (DP) president, Norbert Mao
has said election violence occurs because people
will do anything to avoid losing. He says in our
context, elections are a matter of life and death.
Mao says to avoid this, rules must be followed to
the dot. He also says there is need to
understand that the country is for all.

EC announces polling date for the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The Uganda Independent  electoral commission has  announced that the polling date for the presidential and parliamentary elections will be February 18, 2016. There are 8 candidates including incumbent Yoweri Museveni.

They announced this after concluding nomination of eight presidential candidates at Mandela National Stadium.
The candidates are Yoweri Museveni NRM, Amama Mbabazi Go Forward, Vanatius Baryamureba independent, Kizza Besigye FDC, Ben Biraaro independent, Faith Kyalya independent, Abed Bwanika independent and Joseph Mabirizi independent.
President Kaguta Museveni of the NRM is the front-runner, and will be challenged mainly by his former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi of GoForward and FDC’s Kizza Besigye, who is taking another shot after past failures to grab the top job.

should we have 80 ministers, we want only 20
ministers. We have 400 members of Parliament,
our plan is having only 100 sitting members of
Agriculture must change, the farmers plough the
land but end up with nothing to eat.
Uganda is one of the richest countries
but we Ugandans are among the poorest. The
people of Uganda have been reduced to beggars,
most people are jobless, the healthcare system
is broken. Our country is in captivity, our country
is in the hands of man eaters.


Besigye set to unveil campaign strategy.

FDC’s presidential Flag bearer, Dr. Kizza Besigye
who is set for nomination today at 11am at
Mandela National stadium will hold an inaugural
rally at Nakivubo stadium later today.
Expected to pull crowds as is the case in the
past, the strong headed politician will unveil his
campaign strategy.
If nominated by the Electoral Commission,
Besigye will face off NRM’s Museveni and former
Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi as the top
shots in the presidential race.
