A group of youths storm Mbabazi’s home in Kololo.
Former prime minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi and his family say they are still wondering the intentions of a group of about 20 youths who today at about 6am stormed their home in Kololo and caused a scuffle.
The group calling itself NRM 24/7 youths Group ardoned in President Museveni yellow T. Shirts and carrying sacks of Charcoal, Matooke, chicken and groceries went to Mbabazi’s home shouting in loud voices demanding that Mbabazi buy the items or give them money.
They claimed that Mbabazi lured then to the NRM while promising them jobs but that they were dismayed that he thus left the party without fulfilling the promise.
On Arrival at Mbabazi’s gate, the family called in a group of loyalists who rushed in and tried to chase them away before they pelted stones at each other.
In an interview with Journalists, Mbabazi’s spokes person Josephine Mayanja Nkangi says they are still skeptical about the intentions of the group.
